Storyline

Nigella Lawson's love for Italy and Italian food began when she lived and worked in Florence before beginning her university studies. In "Nigellissima," the author and celebrity chef presents a series -- filmed in a custom-built replica of her own kitchen -- dedicated to her version of Italian food that incorporates the way people live in the U.K. While she is true to the spirit of Italian cooking, her recipes are always quick and easy, designed to transform everyday eating into light-on-touch feasts for when supper needs to be on the table pronto.
