Storyline

8 years ago Søren Ryge Petersen was fed up with doing regular gardening programmes. A spontaneous idea led to the birth of "DR-Derude direkte" in which he would broadcast live from his garden in Northern Zealand, with the help of only two people, a camera man and a sound recordist. As Søren Ryge says: "This was dogme, years before the concept had a name. " In this tv-special he looks back upon the period in which he made television history, selecting the best bits of 8 years of footage.
