Storyline

Seeking peace after the death of her husband Khay, Renisenb returns to her father's house on the banks of the Nile. Initially, it seems that all is as it was when she left eight years previously. But beneath the calm, ordered surface of Imhotep's prosperous household lie greed, resentment and hatred. And when Imhotep returns from the North with his arrogant new concubine Nofret in tow, the family's passions explode in violence - and murder.
