Storyline

Having devoted her whole life to teaching at school, Agata Denisovna retires to a well-deserved retirement in order to devote time to her beloved spouse. A pensioner experiences great pleasure when in the evenings a married couple enthusiastically discusses daily affairs over a chess game. She listens to her husband's stories and enjoys the calm atmosphere. Hope for a long idyll collapses in an instant when a true friend and lover dies.
