Storyline
"The Popeye Show" was a hosted children's show with Bob Shreve as host. The show was aired on WCPIO-TV Channel 9 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The show ran in 1960. The show aired Popeye cartoons, with Shreve sitting in a makeshift canoe, trading wisecracks with a stuffed eagle named "Bird-uh." Shreve would also tell jokes, and doing Perry Como and Lawrence Welk imitations.
