Storyline

Although Theo has both his father and mother, it is his mother's job that has caused him to move numerous times in his life, and he is always the new kid who has difficulty making friends. He is kind of a nerd and he has a ventriloquist's dummy who is his main friend. When he sees what he believes to be a shooting star over Anytown, he is ready to make a wish. Then he realizes the shooting star is headed straight for him. Whatever it is crashes into his house. Blizzard the Reindeer tells his story, which began a few days earlier at the North Pole. While he is very intelligent and has created inventions, he is quite clumsy and not very good at flying. His best friend is the snow woman Candy. Though they would like better jobs, they are on the crew that disposes of trash. Santa has a pink snow globe that contains all the children's wishes, which is kept high in a tower. His second in command is Smiley, whose title is Head of Holiday Operations (or Ho-Ho). After 500 years on the job, Smiley must prove himself to be valuable because he is required to retire soon. He has come up with ideas to improve Santa's operation, but Santa doesn't like change. Smiley also advises Santa that someday, Santa will be too old to do the job. Blizzard also has ideas but is unable to present them to Santa. So along with Candy he sneaks into the tower using an old mitten that the security system believes is Santa. When he finds the pink snow globe, he is about to give it his wish when a mysterious hooded figure steals it and takes off in a sleigh. Blizzard and Candy catch a ride on the sleigh hoping to retrieve the snow globe, or there will be no Christmas. As the villain flies over Anytown, the snow globe falls. Blizzard and Candy try to follow it but end up at Theo's house with no idea how to find the globe. Knowing all this, Theo must help find the globe. Candy stays outside and Blizzard pretends to be a dog. Eventually, Theo and Blizzard are able to put together a contraption that may help find the globe, but of course Theo looks ridiculous and gets bullied. Back at the North Pole, Santa's team of investigators must find out what happened to the snow globe or there will be no Christmas. The only clue is the ID badge Blizzard accidentally dropped. It is believed Blizzard stole it, so now the team must figure out how to find him. Theo has a crush on Isla, a brainy kid, and they have a conversation. She likes his contraption. The snow globe is found, but the villain steals it once again and disappears behind a cloaking mechanism. In the location where he was last seen, there is supposedly an old factory. Eventually, Blizzard realizes that Isla can help with the search. Isla's mom works for the city and Isla can access information about the factory. It turns out there are tunnels going under the factory, and Blizzard, Theo, Isla and Candy all take the tunnels to the factory. There they discover robots making toys that don't look right. And the villain removes his robe, revealing that he is actually several elves standing on top of each other. Smiley is the one who created the operation. At the North Pole, Pinky and Hawk discover evidence that exonerates Blizzard and begin trying to find him. Blizzard and the others are captured and imprisoned. They are released when Theo uses his talent of impersonation to convince the elves he is Smiley telling them to do it. Then the group convinces Smiley that what he did was wrong, and Smiley gives them the globe. Escaping is difficult since the robots are programmed in such a way they cannot be stopped from defending the factory. But a way is found to get out, and Blizzard returns the globe to the North Pole. Candy hopes someone will take her back too. Blizzard and Theo must say goodbye. Theo did get his wish because he has a new friend, but he is sad. Smiley is forgiven and Blizzard is able to present his ideas, and next year, every child has his own reindeer friend.
