Storyline

For generations, there have been tales of lost treasure at locations around the world. This docuseries explores some of those legends, from medieval-fortified European cities to a secret pirate island in the Indian Ocean. Underwater explorer Barry Clifford and historian Scott Wolter are on the hunt for new evidence that links two of history's most famous sects, the medieval Knights Templar and 17th-century pirates, that were separated by 500 years. Their findings could lead them to unearth treasure that has been buried for centuries.
