About this title

Storyline

In this factual documentary series, 12 exceptional applicants have been chosen out of thousands to find out if they have what it takes to become an astronaut. Over the course of six weeks, astronaut and former Commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield, former NASA medical researcher Dr Kevin Fong and psychologist Dr Iya Whiteley have the applicants go through a series of gruelling tests, both mental and physical, that push them to their limits. At the end of the six weeks, only one candidate will ultimately be selected as the winner. The person who impresses the most will be rewarded with Chris Hadfield's recommendation and backing for their application to the space agencies.
