The Met: Policing London

Storyline

`The Met: Policing London' follows Britain's largest police service as they deal with criminal activity in and around the capital. The series, filmed over the course of a year, captures the events that followed the death of suspected gang member Mark Duggan, a 29-year-old man who was shot by a firearms officer who believed that Duggan was carrying a gun. The killing that took place in North London's Tottenham triggered chaos and riots all over London. Episodes document the case as it reaches its verdict and concludes whether the killing was lawful or unlawful. Scotland Yard, in the meantime, prepare for any riots that may kick off around the city and they take a new approach in dealing with the tensions surrounding the incident.
