Storyline

Despite the Brits having a reputation of being dog lovers, 100,000 dogs are currently homeless in the UK. Wood Green, The Animals Charity in Cambridgeshire, is on a mission to reduce this number and takes in hundreds of disowned or neglected dogs every year. This factual series follows the work of 60 dedicated staff members who are committed to helping abandoned dogs find a new home. Their job is to match the dogs with their hopeful owners, which takes experience, insight into human behaviour a bit of luck. Using fixed cameras, the series follows the stories of the dogs from the moment their are brought to Wood Green, through to being matched with their new owner, and all being well - into their new homes.
