Storyline

23-year-old Sheena has two things on her mind: moving to New Orleans from Alexandria, LA and cracking the code to internet stardom with her motivational speaking. She has a great circle of cyber-focused friends, Ayana and Giselle, with whom she creates content. She also has her parents, Darnel and Niecey, who have been married for over 20 years. She is content with life until her mother reveals that she is divorcing her dad. This unlocks a memory that sends Sheena on a journey of self-discovery through the exploration of the faults of her parents and grandparents. Niecey experiences her own self-discovery journey, as information about her life is unveiled forcing her to attempt to heal from past wounds and live in her provocative truth. Sheena's family isn't who she thought they were, but the family she discovers is far greater than she can ever imagine and their secrets are even more surprising.
