Storyline

We follow the story of Teja Singh, a veetran retired politician and his family where his son, Veer Pratap, is a powerful minister in Punjab Government. Veer's wife is an educated but homely nobody, Mannat, while his brother is a wannabe politician. All hell breaks lose when Veer is accused of drug trafficking and his nephew is forced to surrender on charges of murdering his girlfriend. A journalist is diligently following up on the murder story against all odds. The Chief Minister hates Veer Pratap and has plans to remove this challenger to his throne. Jankidas is a sane voice in the cabinet but often nobody listens to him. The story changes gears as Mannat is thrown on the centre stage with a series of unfortunate incidents. Will she be able to manoeuvre her way through all political intrigues with the help of old war horse Teja Singh? Will the CM succeed in his designs? Ten episodes of edge of the seat high-interest drama. Every politician is a pawn in the game of Political Chausar.
